The Tax Policy 1 and 2 Divisions (T1/T2) of the Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) are seeking a contractual projects analyst to support the divisions’ management of capacity development (CD) projects. Tasks and duties include:  

Divisional delivery management 

· Maintain project management systems and tools to help the DC and DDCs to keep the Medium-Term Workplan (MTW) up-to-date and delivery plans on track. 

· Liaise with FAD’s Resource Management Division regarding mission dates, staffing, and funding resources. 

· Input and update mission travel information for staff and experts on an ongoing basis. 

· Assist /T2’s administrative staff in the management of experts contracting. 

· Contribute to the administration of externally financed CD projects, including preparing and reviewing reports and managing deadlines. 

Data management tasks 

· Assists with information and knowledge gathering from internal and external sources. Research, collect, and compile information on topical tax policy related issues. 

· Create, maintain, and update quantitative and qualitative tax revenue relevant databases. 

Work on special projects. 

Qualifications  

The selected candidate must possess:  

A combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of a secondary school education, or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of four years of relevant experience, is required.

Only candidates who are currently residing in the Washington DC metro area will be considered.

This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
