What you will do:
Lead the realization of utility-scale BESS projects in Romania from contract signature through commissioning and handover to operations
Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and recovery plans to ensure successful and timely delivery
Coordinate EPC contractors, suppliers, grid operators, authorities, and internal stakeholders across engineering, legal, finance, and operations
Oversee construction interfaces, technical documentation, permitting activities, and grid connection readiness
Drive HSE compliance, quality inspections, commissioning activities, and resolution of technical or contractual issues
Provide transparent reporting on KPIs, milestones, budgets, risks, and project progress while promoting continuous improvement and Axpo standards
What you bring & who you are:
Degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or energy engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
Experience managing large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects, ideally within BESS, grid connection, or energy projects
Strong understanding of contract management, stakeholder coordination, and project delivery processes
Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills in international and cross-functional teams
Fluent English and Romanian skills; ideally, knowledge of another European language
