Introduction to the job

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

In this role, you are responsible for the operational execution of the production plan and contribute to the on-time delivery of our high-tech products. Working closely with Manufacturing, Business Planning, Process Engineering, Product Owners, Development, and Manufacturing Preparation, you create transparency across production and help maintain a stable and efficient manufacturing flow.

Role and responsibilities

• Production planning & control: Execute the production program plan and monitor production progress to ensure delivery commitments are met.

• Scheduling & prioritization: Prioritize manufacturing orders, determine delivery dates, and take corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.

• Escalation & issue management: Escalate and coordinate solutions for conflicts, unexpected disruptions, capacity constraints, and production bottlenecks.

• KPI & production reporting: Monitor, prepare, and communicate production status updates and operational KPIs.

• Material & logistics coordination: Monitor material coverage, support manufacturing-related logistics activities, and coordinate storage locations with Manufacturing Preparation.

• Systems & process improvements: Contribute to SAP, manufacturing, and development projects and support continuous process improvements.

• Operational support: Support inventory activities and contribute to ensuring a stable and efficient production flow.

Education and experience

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable technical field, or have an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing organization.

• You bring several years of experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing organization.

• You have experience working with planning tools and production scheduling processes.

• You have solid SAP knowledge, particularly in the PP and MM modules.

• You are confident using MS Office applications, especially Excel.

• You have experience in project work and applying Lean Management principles.

• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

An unserem Standort in Berlin fertigen unsere Mitarbeitenden Schlüsselkomponenten für die ASML Lithografiesysteme. Als Teil unserer Präzisionsfertigung unterstützt du bei der Produktion optischer Komponenten, Baugruppen sowie Systeme aus Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik für unsere High-Tech-Kleinserien, Einzelteil- und Prototypenfertigung.

In dieser Rolle verantwortest du die operative Umsetzung der Produktionsplanung und trägst maßgeblich zu einer termingerechten Fertigung unserer High-Tech-Produkte bei. Gemeinsam mit Fertigung, Business Planning, Prozesstechnik, Produktverantwortung, Entwicklung und Arbeitsvorbereitung sorgst du für Transparenz im Produktionsablauf und unterstützt einen stabilen und effizienten Material- und Informationsfluss.

Deine Aufgaben

• Produktionsplanung & Fertigungssteuerung: Du setzt die Produktionsprogrammplanung im operativen Umfeld um und überwachst den Produktionsfortschritt zur Sicherstellung der Liefertermine.

• Terminierung & Priorisierung: Du priorisierst Fertigungsaufträge, bestimmst Liefertermine und greifst bei Bedarf steuernd in den Produktionsablauf ein.

• Eskalations- & Engpassmanagement: Du eskalierst Konflikte, Störungen und Engpässe und unterstützt bei der Lösungsfindung.

• KPI- & Fertigungsreporting: Du bereitest Fertigungsstände auf, überwachst relevante KPIs und stellst deren interne Kommunikation sicher.

• Material- & Logistiksteuerung: Du überwachst die Materialabdeckung, unterstützt fertigungsnahe Logistikprozesse und arbeitest eng mit der Arbeitsvorbereitung zusammen.

• Systeme & Prozessverbesserungen: Du wirkst an SAP-, Fertigungs- und Entwicklungsprojekten mit und unterstützt die kontinuierliche Verbesserung bestehender Prozesse.

• Operative Unterstützung: Du unterstützt bei Inventuren und trägst zu einem stabilen und effizienten Produktionsablauf bei.

Deine Qualifikationen

• Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium mit Bachelorabschluss in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Produktionstechnik, Maschinenbau, Logistik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Bereich oder verfügst über eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit relevanter Berufserfahrung in der Fertigungssteuerung, Produktionsplanung oder Fertigungsorganisation.

• Du bringst erste Berufserfahrung in der Fertigungssteuerung, Fertigungsplanung oder Fertigungsorganisation mit.

• Du verfügst über Erfahrung in der Produktionsprogrammplanung sowie in der Grob- und Feinplanung.

• Du hast gute SAP-Kenntnisse, insbesondere in den Modulen PP und MM.

• Du arbeitest sicher mit MS Office, insbesondere mit Excel.

• Du hast Erfahrung in der Projektarbeit sowie in der Anwendung von Lean-Management-Methoden.

• Du verfügst über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
