Job Description
What is the opportunity?
We are seeking an Associate Institutional Portfolio Manager to support the Institutional Portfolio Manager in managing and growing client relationships within RBC BlueBay's Asian Equity businesses. You'll take ownership of internal queries, reporting, presentations, commentaries, and RFPs/DDQs. You will be ensuring PMs and IPMs are fully prepared for client meetings, and be integral in supporting the investment team with research documentation and related ESG materials.
What will you do?
- Manage internal and client-related queries and help to prepare comprehensive reporting and market commentaries.
- Assist the IPM in developing and refining fund presentations, white papers, and pitch materials incorporating market and client perspectives.
- Coordinate with the Global Business Development Team to assist with client-related requests.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create content that supports brand awareness and product positioning.
- Prepare PMs and IPMs for client meetings through thorough analysis and presentation development.
- Work alongside PMs and Analysts to assist with research documentation and related ESG materials, ensuring that these are appropriately maintained and recorded.
- Build expertise to progressively conduct client meetings and confidently speak about funds and market developments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Degree or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in asset management or financial institutions.

This position is subject to the Mandatory Reference Check Scheme (MRCS). MRCS is a standardized reference-checking arrangement by requesting the individual's information from each relevant former and current employers (Authorized Institutions under the supervision of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority) covering the preceding seven years prior to the application for this position.
