The Team
As part of the continued growth of Global Payments Solutions (GPS), we are seeking an experienced Treasury Sales Officer to join our EMEA Global Commercial Banking Sales team in Amsterdam.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in one of GPS's fastest-growing and most internationally focused client segments. You will manage and develop relationships with US-headquartered multinational clients and their European subsidiaries, partnering with Treasury and Finance leaders to support their growth, liquidity and working capital objectives.
Working closely with Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and GPS product specialists, you will deliver strategic treasury solutions across payments, liquidity, foreign exchange, trade finance and commercial cards. The role offers significant client ownership, business development responsibility and exposure to senior decision-makers across a diverse portfolio of international clients.

Responsibilities
Client Coverage & Business Development
Manage and grow a portfolio of US-headquartered Global Commercial Banking clients and their European subsidiaries
Originate new business opportunities and deepen existing client relationships to drive revenue growth and increase wallet share
Develop and execute client growth strategies aligned to broader relationship objectives
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring delivery against agreed business development and revenue targets
Lead client engagements including treasury reviews, solution discussions, proposal development and deal execution
Treasury Advisory & Solution Delivery
Develop a deep understanding of clients' treasury, liquidity and working capital objectives to identify opportunities for growth
Design and present tailored treasury solutions across payments, liquidity, cash management, FX, commercial cards and trade finance
Advise clients on opportunities to optimise working capital, enhance operational efficiency and support international expansion
Coordinate successful implementation of solutions in partnership with service, operations and implementation teams
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with Corporate Banking coverage teams and GPS product specialists to develop and execute client strategies
Collaborate across Product Management, Trade, Liquidity, Card and FX teams to deliver integrated client solutions
Build strong internal partnerships across Credit, Risk, Compliance and Operations functions
Provide client insights and market intelligence to support product innovation and business growth initiatives
Risk & Governance
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management standards
Maintain a strong control environment while balancing client outcomes and commercial objectives
What we are looking for
Treasury & Transaction Banking Expertise
Proven experience in Treasury Management Sales, Transaction Banking, Cash Management or Global Payments Solutions within a leading financial institution
Strong knowledge of liquidity management, cash management, payments, FX, commercial cards, trade finance and working capital solutions
Experience advising multinational corporates on treasury, liquidity and cross-border banking requirements
Strong understanding of the European transaction banking and treasury landscape
Business Development & Commercial Acumen
Demonstrated success originating new business, growing client relationships and delivering sustainable revenue growth
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, develop client strategies and execute against ambitious growth objectives
Experience managing complex multinational client relationships and influencing senior decision-makers
Relationship Management & Influencing Skills
Ability to engage and influence CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors and other senior client stakeholders
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility internally and externally
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business lines, products and geographies
Leadership & Personal Attributes
Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented approach
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong judgement, resilience and problem-solving capabilities
Regulatory & Risk Management
Working knowledge of the regulatory environment impacting transaction banking and treasury services
Ability to balance commercial objectives with appropriate risk and governance standards
Language Requirements
Fluent English required, additional European language skills are advantageous but not essential
