In this role, you will join the Engagement team and partner with senior leaders across BFS to shape employee experiences, deliver impactful communications, and develop meaningful community initiatives that strengthen culture, build employee pride and create lasting community impact across our 5,000+ employees. In this role you will partner closely with the Banking and Financial Services Group Head, ExCo and senior leadership team to shape and deliver group wide communication, culture and engagement strategies. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for internal communications, developing compelling narratives and high-impact campaigns that engage employees, simplify complexity and support business priorities. As leader of the Engagement team, you will coach and develop talent, champion innovation and storytelling, and drive a step change in the quality, creativity and commercial impact of communications across our Group. You will also represent the Employee Experience function in senior leadership and ExCo forums, providing trusted strategic counsel and influence.In addition, you will lead our Group's approach to community engagement, identifying and delivering differentiated initiatives that strengthen both external reputation and employee pride. Leveraging the Macquarie Foundation and Banking and Financial Services unique strengths, the role will develop authentic community programs that align with the retail brand and create meaningful opportunities for employees to connect with and contribute to community impact. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that community engagement and employee experience are closely linked, fostering a strong sense of purpose, culture and belonging across our group.
What you offer
- Proven senior communications leadership experience, ideally in a large, complex financial services or technology organisation
- A track record of partnering with and influencing C-suite and ExCo stakeholders
