Deloitte Cyber helps organizations build trust, resilience, and secure transformation across complex technology environments. As a Senior Consultant supporting our Enterprise Security practice, you will advise clients on cloud identity and access management with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID. You will work across assessment, design, implementation, and optimization efforts to help organizations strengthen cyber risk controls, modernize identity architecture, and enable secure adoption of cloud services. This role offers the opportunity to support large-scale transformation programs and client-facing cyber engagements across Microsoft identity technologies.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant on the Enterprise Security team, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing Microsoft Entra ID environments and providing recommendations for cloud identity architecture, configuration, and cyber risk mitigation across capabilities such as conditional access, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, business-to-business, and business-to-consumer.
- Architecting, designing, and implementing Microsoft Entra ID deployments, migrations, and upgrades, including tenant setup, service configuration, and application integrations.
- Supporting proof of concept and production implementations for Microsoft identity features, including identity governance, privileged identity management, and reporting capabilities.
- Troubleshooting Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity issues in multi-vendor environments, conducting technical health checks, and documenting analysis, remediation steps, and client communications.
- Contributing to broader cyber engagements by supporting migration readiness activities, automating administrative tasks through PowerShell and Microsoft Graph APIs, assisting managed services teams, and sharing technical knowledge with internal practitioners.

Enterprise Security teams embed security in all aspects of digital transformation by securing a client’s “technical backbone” while also enabling secure digital transformation. Services include security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products. Examples of work include Secure by Design, Cloud Security Orchestration & Automation, Core Infrastructure Security, and Secure Software Enablement.

Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft identity solutions in consulting or enterprise environments.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Entra ID Premium, conditional access, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged identity management (PIM) or privileged access management (PAM).
- Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Entra ID security capabilities and application integrations for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) use cases.
- 4+ years of experience with identity and access management (IAM) protocols, including WS-Federation, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OpenID Connect, and OAuth.
- 4+ years of experience implementing identity-focused security solutions for Microsoft technologies.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Defender for Identity or Azure Advanced Threat Protection.
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology.
Preferred:
- Experience using PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph APIs to automate Microsoft Entra ID administration, reporting, or migration activities.
- Experience with on-premises Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and Group Policy in hybrid identity environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID tenant setup, migrations, health checks, and production deployments.
- Experience with Azure Automation.
- One or more Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, AZ-500, AZ-800, AZ-801, or SC-100.
- One or more certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
