Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 8–10 years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in Agile delivery, Scrum, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach cross-functional teams, remove delivery impediments, and drive continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams. Experience in consulting environments and managing enterprise-scale digital transformation projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Ensure Agile principles and Scrum framework are effectively implemented across teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Guide teams in achieving sprint commitments while maintaining quality standards.

Team Coaching & Agile Transformation

• Coach development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and Scrum best practices.
• Mentor teams transitioning from Waterfall to Agile delivery models.
• Promote Agile maturity through regular health assessments and process improvements.
• Drive adoption of Lean-Agile practices and DevOps collaboration.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine product backlogs.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on delivery objectives.
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and sprint metrics to leadership.
• Facilitate communication between distributed and cross-functional teams.

Delivery & Risk Management

• Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting sprint delivery.
• Monitor sprint progress using Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown, Burnup, Cycle Time, Lead Time, and Team Capacity.
• Manage dependencies across multiple Agile teams.
• Support release planning and roadmap execution.
• Escalate delivery risks proactively and recommend mitigation strategies.

Metrics & Reporting

• Prepare Agile dashboards and executive reports.
• Track Sprint Velocity, Predictability, Defort Leakage, Escaped Defects, and Team Performance.
• Analyze trends to improve productivity and delivery efficiency.
• Present delivery insights during governance meetings.

Process Improvement

• Facilitate retrospectives and implement actionable improvement initiatives.
• Standardize Agile practices across teams.
• Identify automation opportunities within Agile workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.

• Jira
• Azure DevOps
• Confluence
• Microsoft Teams
• Miro / Mural
• Jira Align (preferred)
• ServiceNow (preferred)
• Power BI (for Agile reporting)
• Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines (good understanding)

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean Agile frameworks.
• Experience facilitating multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and servant leadership abilities.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
• Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile transformation programs.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

Master's degree (MBA/M.Tech) is an added advantage.
