We are seeking a talented individual to join our Cyber Broking team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Principal Broker - Cyber
Working within the largest cyber broking practice in Australia, you will help grow and manage a portfolio of large and complex cyber accounts. You will build trusted client relationships, support renewal and placement strategies, and identify opportunities to expand Marsh’s products and services within existing accounts.
We will count on you to:
Manage and grow a portfolio of key cyber accounts with long-standing client relationships
Work with colleagues across the business and global placement teams to deliver renewal and placement strategies in line with client instructions
Support presentations to prospective clients and help develop solutions that win new business and projects
Identify opportunities to expand accounts through Marsh service offerings, market insights, and client needs
Build and maintain a professional network by participating in industry events, conferences, and client functions
Represent Marsh’s cyber broking capabilities in the market with professionalism and commercial judgement
What you need to have:
At least 5 years of insurance broking experience, ideally in Cyber or Financial Lines
Tier 1 Qualificiation
Well-developed communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
Experience presenting to and building relationships with senior leaders or C-suite stakeholders
What makes you stand out:
Current experience in cyber broking or underwriting
Experience managing a portfolio of complex accounts
Knowledge of insurance markets and strategic client engagement
A tertiary qualification, which will be highly regarded
