Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
This role acts as a technical escalation point, driving system reliability, compliance, and process optimization while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues for Data protection tools and related components.
- • Lead proactive monitoring, analysis, and optimization of active services to ensure high performance and business continuity.
- • Oversee and execute advanced troubleshooting, leveraging log analysis, diagnostic tools, and root cause analysis to resolve persistent or high-impact issues.
- • Coordinate and help implement regular software updates, security patches, and system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and ongoing compliance with security policies.
- • Monitors the effectiveness of rules and maintain records of exception requests and approvals.
- • Collaborate with CSIRT on alert investigations and rule refinement to reduce false positives.
- • Manage and optimize policy enforcement and security configurations.
- • Plan, schedule, and lead system changes, upgrades, and configuration adjustments, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and business needs.
- • Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides for both internal teams and clients.
- • Analyze alerts and service request trends, recommending and implementing process improvements to reduce recurring issues, false positives and enhance service quality.

Deloitte's Cyber Data Operate teams manage clients' critical data either as a fully managed service or in partnership with clients. We deliver skilled talent, cutting-edge technologies, and robust processes to operate client data protection, privacy and digital trust capabilities. Our flexible and modularized methodology has been utilized by numerous global organizations to build a broad global privacy, data protection, and/or digital trust operations and includes the following phases and activities.

Cyber Data Operate team focuses on efficiently running operations by enabling automation, reducing manual effort and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the standards set by clients.
Qualifications:
Must have skills/ Project experience/ Certifications:
- · 3 – 5 years of experience in operational management and troubleshooting of Data Protection platforms.
- · Advanced skills in log analysis, root cause analysis, and incident management.
- · Experience leading system upgrades, patching, and compliance activities.
- · Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- · Proven ability to optimize policy enforcement and security configurations.
Good to have skills/ Project experience/ Certifications:
- · Experience with process improvement and automation in security operations.
- · Familiarity with cloud / hybrid deployments and SIEM / SOAR integrations.
- · Certification: ITIL Foundation / CEH / Security certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP), Vendor level certificate (Varonis / Netskope / BigID / Imperva / Secuirti.ai / Informatica / Zscaler / Symantec / Forcepoint etc.), CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
Education:
· BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Shift Timings:
- · Flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday coverage is essential.
- · Must be willing to work 24*7 rotational shifts
